Recorded as klëtski of sorghum flour in soup among Karakalpaks in 1958 ethnography (Khorezm Expedition, Trudy vol. III). 2023 Nukus record dish: 20 turkeys, 35 kg sorghum flour, 15 kg wheat flour, served on a 3.5 × 2.5 m platter.

Shalekenov's study of the Chimbay district peasantry, c. p. 347, lists "«гешир гуртик» - морковный суп с клецками из джугаровой муки" (A).
